Japan
POW & CULTURE ADVENTURE
Japan offers a completely different ski experience, known for its consistent snowfall, light powder, and unique cultural setting. It combines high-quality skiing with a broader travel experience, making it one of the most sought-after destinations in the world.
Each day is planned around weather and snow conditions, with a mix of lift-accessed skiing, optional off-piste terrain, and the opportunity to include cat skiing for access to untouched powder away from the resorts. The focus is on finding the best snow available while enjoying everything the destination has to offer.
WHAT MAKES JAPAN DIFFERENT
Consistent, light powder snowfall
Easy access to off-piste terrain from lifts
Optional cat-skiing for more remote powder terrain
A strong cultural element beyond skiing
Food, hospitality, and overall experience
A more relaxed, experience-led style of trip
THE EXPERIENCE
Japan is defined by its snow. Regular storms create deep, consistent powder, often allowing for fresh tracks throughout the day.
Skiing is primarily lift-accessed, with the option to include guided off-piste and cat-skiing days to reach more remote terrain and maximise fresh snow opportunities.
Beyond the skiing, the experience is shaped by Japanese culture. Local food, hot springs, and a completely different pace to traditional ski destinations. The result is a well-rounded trip that blends skiing with travel, making it as much about the overall experience as it is about time on snow.
