ICELAND
Heli-Ski AdventurE
Remote heli-skiing on dramatic coastal terrain in one of the world’s most unique mountain landscapes. Delivered in partnership with experienced local heli-ski operators.
Experience heli-skiing in Iceland, where mountains rise straight from the ocean and no two runs feel the same. This is a destination defined by coastal peaks, open faces, and ever-changing conditions that create a truly unique skiing environment.
Each day is planned around weather and snow conditions to maximise skiing opportunities, with helicopter access allowing for a wide range of terrain to be explored. The experience is built around small groups, flexible planning, and making the most of what the mountain delivers each day.

No, but you do need to be a confident skier comfortable off-piste. Canada is one of the best places to experience heli-skiing for the first time due to its terrain variety and reliable conditions.
-
You should have a good level of fitness and be comfortable skiing multiple runs per day in variable snow. You don’t need to be an athlete, but you should be able to ski confidently for several hours.
-
Heli-skiing is weather dependent. In poor visibility, operators will often use tree skiing zones where possible. If flying isn’t possible, alternative skiing options may be arranged depending on location.
-
Most days include multiple heli drops, typically around 8–10 runs depending on conditions, group ability, and vertical usage.
-
You’ll need appropriate powder skis and off-piste gear. Safety equipment (such as avalanche transceivers, airbags, etc.) is typically provided, but we’ll guide you on exactly what to bring before the trip.
