WHAT TO EXPECT

UNIQ X is excited to share our alpine race experiences, designed for anyone who’s ever wondered what it feels like to tackle a race course - from complete newcomers to seasoned Masters racers. Open race training events will be on offer each winter - we’ll head to different destinations across Europe and deliver focused, professional coaching in a fun, inclusive setting. No matter your age, gender, or ability, you’ll ski with a small crew (max 7:1 ratio), make new connections, and get the most out of every run.

  • Training is delivered in small groups with a maximum 7:1 athlete-to-coach ratio. This allows for more individual feedback, greater focus on each skier, and increased time on snow.

  • Sessions are built around structured gate training, covering slalom, giant slalom, and selected speed disciplines depending on the camp. Training is designed to develop technique, consistency, and confidence in a race environment.

  • Regular video analysis is used to support technical development, allowing you to review your skiing and receive clear, focused feedback throughout the camp.

  • Selected camps include timed runs and pacemaker benchmarking, providing a clear reference point for performance and progression - particularly for those working towards Eurotest standards.

  • Training focuses on improving core technical elements including balance, edge control, line choice, and timing - helping you ski more efficiently and confidently through the course.

  • Where appropriate, camps may include elements such as ski tuning guidance, equipment setup advice, and general support to help you get the most out of your training.

  • A clear, personalised breakdown of strengths, areas to develop, and tips for your next ski trip.

WHO IS IT FOR?

  • Skiers looking to experience race training in a structured environment

  • Those developing technique and confidence in gates

FAQ’S

  • Any adult skier, whether you’ve never raced before or you’re a seasoned Masters competitor. We welcome all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

  • Not essential but highly recommended. Basic skis, boots, and helmets are available to rent at the resort, and we’ll advise on any specialised race equipment you might want to bring. Having the right race skis can make a real difference, but we know high-end kit is an investment - so whether you use your own gear, rent, or borrow, we’ll help you find the best option to suit your needs.

  • Moderate fitness is all you need. If you’re comfortable skiing intermediate slopes for 4–5 hours a day, you’ll be right at home.

  • We keep it small, no more than seven skiers per coach. That way you get personalised attention and faster progress.

  • We offer a flexible cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before event start receive a full refund; between 8–4 weeks, deposit payment non refundable; within 4 week period is no refund at total cost, unless another member is found to replace your position or we’ll do our best to accommodate you on a future event.
