Understanding Your Ski Level

Understanding your ski level helps us match you with the right terrain, pace, and overall experience. Use the guide below as a reference - and if you’re unsure, we’ll guide you through it during your enquiry.

  • Level 1

    FIRST TURNS

    New to skiing or just getting started on gentle slopes. Focused on building confidence, balance, and basic control.

  • Level 2

    BUILDING CONFIDENCE

    Comfortable on beginner slopes and developing control through turns. Beginning to link turns and explore slightly steeper terrain.

  • Level 3

    DEVELOPING CONTROL

    Confident on blue runs with improving control and consistency. Starting to move away from snowplough towards parallel skiing.

  • Level 4

    CONFIDENT SKIER

    Comfortable skiing a range of pistes, including reds. Able to maintain control and rhythm in varied conditions.

  • Level 5

    ADVANCED SKIER

    Strong, confident skier across most terrain. Comfortable skiing reds and blacks, with the ability to handle varied snow conditions.

  • Level 6

    EXPERT SKIER

    Highly experienced and confident in all terrain, including off-piste. Able to ski steep, variable, and challenging conditions with control.
