Last updated: 7 October 2026
UNIQ X is a trading name of UNIQ X GLOBAL LIMITED, registered in England and Wales, company number 15611757. Our registered office is 2nd Floor Medway Bridge House, 1-8 Fairmeadow, Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom, ME14 1JP. Contact us at info@uniqxadventures.com.
Read these general terms with the written information and conditions supplied before you book your particular experience. That information should identify the contracting business, UNIQ X’s role, the agreed services, price, payment dates and cancellation arrangements. These terms do not replace your statutory rights or retrospectively change an existing booking.
1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Your booking is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation email from the contracting provider. Check the details and contact us promptly if anything is incorrect.
For bookings paid to UNIQ X, the usual deposit is 20%, with the balance due eight weeks before travel, unless a different payment schedule is stated and agreed before booking. The payment information supplied for your trip sets out the amounts, due dates and accepted payment methods. If a partner takes payment, check its stated payment terms before paying.
Cancellation dates and charges vary by experience and reflect its supplier arrangements. The applicable schedule must be supplied before you commit and recorded with your booking information. Group bookings follow their stated deposit and cancellation arrangements. A deposit is part of the price and is not automatically forfeited; any cancellation charge must be fair and justified.
2. TAKING PART IN YOUR EXPERIENCE
Choose an experience suited to your skiing, fitness and confidence. Read the trip requirements and our Ability Level Guide, and discuss any concerns about suitability or support needs before booking. Follow reasonable safety instructions, local rules and the equipment requirements for your activity.
Provide accurate booking information and pass relevant trip information to everyone in your party. Tell us about special requests before booking. A request is only an agreed part of your arrangements when confirmed in writing.
Travel insurance suitable for your destination and activities is a condition of participation. Check cancellation, emergency medical treatment, mountain rescue, repatriation and equipment cover, including any relevant exclusions for race training, off-piste skiing, ski touring, heli-skiing or cat-skiing. Your insurance does not replace any responsibility we owe you.
Discuss relevant access, health or support needs with us before booking so that suitability and available arrangements can be considered. Ask for an appropriate way to share sensitive information. Do not put detailed medical records into a general enquiry form. Any necessary fitness evidence will be discussed in relation to the particular activity.
Check passport, visa and entry requirements for your destination and nationality. This does not remove any duty we have to provide travel information under applicable law.
3. PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information is handled as explained in our Privacy & Cookies Policy. Sending an enquiry, making a booking or using this website does not, by itself, give permission for marketing or every use of your information. Contact info@uniqxadventures.com with a privacy question.
4. WEBSITE CONTENT AND IMAGERY
Website text, photographs, video, design and other content belong to UNIQ X or their respective rights holders. Some material is used with permission from photographers and partners. For permission to reproduce or use content commercially, please contact us. Rights held by another owner may need separate permission. This does not restrict uses permitted by law. Our Website Terms & Legal Information provide further details.
5. RESPONSIBILITY AND MOUNTAIN ACTIVITIES
5.1. Mountain activities involve hazards. Choose an experience suited to your skiing and fitness, use the specified equipment and follow reasonable safety instructions. Recognising those hazards does not mean waiving your rights or accepting negligent services.
5.2. We remain responsible for the contractual and legal duties that apply to our role in your booking. We do not exclude or restrict responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Where we organise a package, using other suppliers does not remove the organiser duties imposed by law.
5.3. Events beyond our control may affect an experience. Their consequences depend on the services agreed, the circumstances and applicable law. They do not automatically remove obligations to provide assistance, alternatives, a price reduction or a refund.
6. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
6.1. Read our Changes, Cancellations & Refunds policy with the cancellation schedule supplied before booking your particular experience. Any valid cancellation charge must be fair and justifiable, with payments already made credited against it. Cost savings, recoveries and resale income are taken into account as required by law.
6.2. Contact us if you want to change dates, guests or services. We will explain availability, the price effect and any reasonable costs before you decide. Applicable statutory transfer and cancellation rights remain available.
6.3. Weather, snow, lift closures or helicopter restrictions can affect mountain services. There is no blanket rule that these events remove refund rights. The actual effect on the agreed services, suitable alternatives and any legal entitlement to a refund or price reduction must be considered.
6.4. Where UK package travel rules require a termination refund, it is due without undue delay and within 14 calendar days after termination, less any lawful cancellation charge. Other refunds follow their applicable legal and contractual rules. An outstanding recovery from a supplier does not postpone a refund obligation we owe you.
7. QUESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS
Tell the team promptly if something is not right so there is a reasonable opportunity to help. For a written complaint, email info@uniqxadventures.com with your booking details, a description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking. We will consider the evidence and explain our response. A delay in reporting does not automatically remove a valid claim or your statutory rights.
8. TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS AND FINANCIAL PROTECTION
We do not arrange travel flights to or from your destination. Any helicopter activity included in an experience is described separately in the trip information. These general terms do not claim ATOL protection.
Personal travel insurance, business liability insurance and protection against a travel organiser’s insolvency serve different purposes. One should not be assumed to provide the cover of another.
The applicable financial-protection arrangements must be established for the actual booking. Where package travel law requires insolvency protection, compliant arrangements and the required information must be in place before the booking is made. Contact info@uniqxadventures.com to clarify the organiser and protection arrangements for a specific trip before paying. These terms do not assert that a particular protection scheme is in place.
9. LAW AND LEGAL RIGHTS
These UNIQ X terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, that choice does not take away mandatory protections available to you under applicable law, including protections of your country of residence where they apply. Nothing here prevents you bringing a claim in any court available to you under applicable law. A separate provider’s contract may specify its own governing law, subject to the same principle that mandatory rights cannot be removed.
10. UPDATES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms for future bookings. The date at the top identifies the current version. Publishing an update does not retrospectively change an existing contract or remove rights that have already arisen. Any change to an agreed booking must respect the contract and applicable law.
